General, The Play Wild BETA Tester

As most of you Jammers already know, AJHQ is going to release a mobile version of AJ soon. They've been selecting various Jammers from Animal Jam to become BETA testers, and guess who was chosen? That's right - General!

Momsandy is now a registered username on the app (thankfully, I chose it before anyone else could). The account is not connected with your basic AJ account (which I don't like), so all of your animals and items are...gone! They haven't released penguins yet - sad news for Gen - so I chose a rabbit and named it General Braverabbit, after my regular rabbit's name.

There's much to talk about with the new app! First of all, the only way to get in is to be recommended by a player or submit a form and hope to be chosen. I was recommended by one of my buddies, and was surprised! I immediately got out my Android Nextbook and cut to the chase. Take a look at the pictures below of my BETA account, with captions!

Has FMAN Returned?

The supposed hacker called FMAN has been blocked by AJ for quite some time, but quite a few Jammers claim to be him (still!) and you can never be sure if they're for real. I have recently investigated two 'FMAN clones' along with a 'squad' of other brave Jammers, and if they were fake, they surely put on some believable shows! Here are some screenshots taken by one of the Jammers that helped me on the investigation:

FMAN's Gone!

 Yep, it's true. AJHQ has blocked FMAN (fman122). See for yourself in the pictures below!

He can't be found anymore! Isn't it great? Of course, there is no way to be sure that he won't just create more accounts, but it seems like AJ will be watching all "FMAN" usernames (there have been a few fake FMANs) in case they do anything hacker-like.

AJ vs. FMAN

Oh, no! Rumours have risen of a "hacker" (someone who tries to get into a computer system without permission) called FMAN (under the username "fman122") that has been disrupting life in Jamaa! He apparently sends Jammers Jam-A-Grams with a gift that, when clicked on, infiltrates your account and swipes all of your items and info. Make sure that if you receive a Jam-A-Gram sent by an unfamiliar Jammer with a gift that it is not from FMAN!

FMAN has only been spotted walking around in Crystal Sands (in the Aldan world only). He has never been reported to actually chat with other Jammers. According to some of the first FMAN witnesses, his den (basic nonmember design) is completely empty. Now, the den is locked. Sending him a Jam-A-Gram has been shown to increase your chances of getting a "hack-gram" from him. Make sure not to accept the Jam-A-Gram gift if it's from FMAN122.

FMAN's username has been approved by AJHQ, so if you are sent a Jam-A-Gram by him, it will say it is from fman122. Before, he would send a Jam-A-Gram that would say it was sent by a New Jammer. However, when you clicked on his name, it would show a wolf nonmember - and nonmembers can't send gifts! That should have been an automatic sign that something's odd, but still, many Jammers accepted the gift and their accounts were "stolen" (although this has never been proven) by FMAN. Hopefully, AJHQ will get rid of this monster if the rumours are true!
